After highly sought-after, large-format custom runs in 2024 and 2025, ThorpyFX has engineered a way to bring this massive, hand-tuned tone to modern players without monopolizing valuable pedalboard real estate. This is the most up-to-date, vintage-sounding fuzz in the Thorpy lineup, tuned to be exceptionally pleasing from the very first note.

Internally, the EAO is packed with premium components, including three NOS germanium transistors and an NOS germanium diode to ensure rich, authentic fuzz textures. Crucially, ThorpyFX has integrated an on-board transformer into the circuit. This eliminates the dreaded impedance mismatch issues common with vintage fuzz designs, meaning you can comfortably place the EAO anywhere in your signal chain without sacrificing its roaring tone or dynamic feel.

Key Features:

NOS Germanium Core: Driven by three NOS germanium transistors and an NOS germanium diode for authentic, vintage fuzz character.

On-Board Transformer: Place the EAO anywhere on your pedalboard without impedance issues or tone suck.

Highly Interactive Controls: The Bias, Sustain, Tone, and Volume actively influence one another, rewarding deep tweaking.

Sustain & Bias Shaping: Dial in everything from a thin, spitty fuzz to a full-throated gain monster with endless, violin-like sustain.

Wide-Ranging Tone: Sweep from a thick, bass-heavy roar to a searing, treble-focused attack.

Master Volume: Easily balance your overall output, especially when diming the bias and sustain for maximum saturation.

Specifications:

Dimensions: 65mm (W) x 125mm (L) x 53mm (H - to top of knobs)

Power Requirements: 9V DC center-negative 2.1mm power supply only

Current Draw: 25mA

Switching: True Bypass

Power Protection: Built-in circuitry shuts the pedal down if incorrect voltages are applied to prevent catastrophic damage.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1110/3544/files/medium_44616374-caf6-4e34-bec4-b50453db0a8e.jpg?v=1793127226
