The Ultimate Vintage Pedal Platform & Classic Rock Machine

This rare 1969 Marshall Super PA 100W (Model 1968) is a remarkable piece of British amplifier history. Built during the legendary transition period in mid-1969, this early metal panel head delivers the massive headroom and harmonically rich overdrive that put vintage Marshalls on the map.

Channels 1 and 2 have been cleanly and professionally modified to legendary Super Lead specifications. This gives you an aggressive, biting classic rock crunch on the left side of the panel, while Channels 3 and 4 retain their original, warm, high-headroom PA circuitry—making this amp an absolute dream platform for fuzz and overdrive pedals.

Component Highlights & Condition:

  • Original Iron: Retains its highly coveted original Dagnall transformers and choke—the true heart of the late-60s Marshall sound.
  • Vintage Internals: The circuit board is exceptionally clean and loaded with original Philips "Mustard" capacitors and Radiospares bypass caps. The original factory red inspection dye is still visible on the solder joints.
  • Responsible Maintenance: The power section features necessary maintenance for safe modern operation, including an early-90s LCR filter cap replacement and upgraded modern screen grid resistors on the power tube sockets.
