Ordering & Return Policies

Cottonwood Music Emporium will ship completed orders Monday-Saturday, usually within one business day. Cottonwood Music Emporium does not ship on Sundays.

Domestic Shipping
Most orders shipped within the Continental United States over $50 will ship free via USPS or UPS, depending on the items ordered.

Orders shipping within the United States with USPS Priority Mail may have delivery confirmation functionality. USPS Priority ships with an estimated delivery time, but this is not a guaranteed shipping time. USPS Priority Mail Express shipping is guaranteed within 48 hours of time of pickup. An automated email with tracking will be sent once the tracking number is assigned, which can be tracked at USPS.com.

UPS Ground shipping time depends on delivery location and can be up to 5 business days. To get delivery estimates prior to making an order check UPS.com. All UPS shipments will require a signature unless requested otherwise. An automated email with tracking will be sent once the tracking number is assigned.

All shipping estimates for USPS and UPS are from the time of pickup and do not take into account order processing time.

International Shipping
Cottonwood Music Emporium does not ship international orders by default. If you're located outside of the United States please send us an email for a shipping quote.

Return Policy
Please contact us for all returns prior to shipping so that we can issue a return authorization. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it for a full refund of the original purchase price, minus a 3% credit card processing fee, as well as the original shipping cost incurred by Cottonwood Music Emporium unless the item is defective. The cost of return shipping will be paid by the buyer unless the item is defective. We offer a 7-day return policy for all pedals and accessories and a 3-day policy for guitars and amps; this window starts from the date of delivery. We must receive the product within 7 days of your return being authorized.

We ask that you please return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories) and in the original condition that it was received. Items returned in undesirable condition (scratched, nicked, modified or without original packaging) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price.

Contacting Cottonwood Music Emporium prior to shipping a return is required. Please send us an email with the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Address
  • Order Number / Receipt
  • Where you purchased the product
  • What product you purchased
  • Why you want to return the product.
Please pack carefully. Do not attach a label to manufacturer’s box. Use a shipping box for packing your return. You may choose any shipping service you like to return the package to us. We strongly recommend some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation and insurance. If you want to know when the item arrives to Cottonwood Music Emporium you will need to keep the tracking number, as we have a lot of shipments coming in. Lost packages happen; these measures will help protect you from loss.

Returns are usually processed within 48 hours of receiving them. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. An automatic email will be sent once the return is processed to notify you. Please keep in mind that credit card refunds can take up to 10 business days to post on the account once the refund has been processed.

All Used item sales are FINAL. All B-Stock Item sales are FINAL.
