The Heritage:
Cottonwood Music Emporium is proud to present a truly one-of-a-kind instrument: a 2006 Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Reissue (R7) with an unassailable pedigree. This "Good Wood" era Goldtop was originally auctioned for charity at the legendary Norman’s Rare Guitars, where it was hand-signed on the back of the headstock by Bon Jovi legend Richie Sambora and guitar virtuoso Orianthi.
The Provenance:
Unlike many signed instruments, this guitar comes with "bulletproof" documentation. The signing was captured on video by the team at Norman’s Rare Guitars for a charity event supporting The Midnight Mission. This ensures the signatures are 100% authentic and tied specifically to this serial number (R7 60086).
The Instrument:
Beyond its celebrity connection, this is a world-class 1957 Reissue. Known for its historical accuracy, this 2006 model features:
- Finish: Iconic Antique Goldtop nitrocellulose lacquer.
- Neck Profile: Substantial '50s Rounded "Chunky" C-shape for ultimate sustain.
- Pickups: Original Gibson BurstBucker 1 & 2 humbuckers for that authentic P.A.F. growl.
- Construction: Solid Mahogany body (non-weight relieved) and a carved Maple top.
- Condition: Very Good. This guitar has been well-preserved with only minor "character marks" consistent with a high-end vintage reissue. There are a few small dings on the front below the bridge (as shown in the pics).
