Signature Optical Compression & Studio-Grade Audio Path

Rather than mess with perfection, we kept what made the original iconic and modernized the rest. The Bass Comp/EQ features custom-spec'd opto-isolators for that incredibly smooth, organic squeeze that only optical compression can provide. Combined with an all-analog, Burr-Brown audio path, your low-end stays punchy, warm, and crystal clear without any unwanted coloration or loss of dynamics.

Advanced EQ Sculpting for Bass

You can now sculpt your tone in the exact same box that masters it. The new active EQ section provides unprecedented control over your bass frequencies:

• 3-Position Tilt EQ: Quickly pivot your entire frequency response to add high-end articulation or massive sub-bass warmth. Features a centre-detent control and a selectable fulcrum frequency switch (250 Hz, 500 Hz, or 900 Hz at +/- 6 dB).
• Mid EQ Control: A dedicated Mid boost/cut control centered at 500 Hz (+/- 10 dB) allows you to effortlessly carve out space in a dense mix or push your bass forward for aggressive pick playing and slap styles.
