At the heart of this pedal is Diamond’s innovative digital Bucket Brigade Delay (dBBD) architecture. This unique system seamlessly blends analog companding, precision anti-aliasing filtering, and a custom-voiced delay line. The result? Unmistakably musical, dimensional sound with a massive delay range spanning from 25ms up to 2.4 seconds

Four Inspiring Delay Modes

Each mode responds like a living instrument, utilizing the analog feedback path to highlight harmonic richness:

• MLjr Mode: A classic fixed-rate delay with silent tempo changes, staying true to the legendary Memory Lane Jr.
• Vintage Mode: Warm, saturated repeats that capture the exact soul and capacitive loss of vintage analog BBD delays.
• Galloping 2-Head: A rhythmic, dual-head delay pattern heavily inspired by the Counterpoint delay.
• Ambient 3-Head: Expansive, cascading repeats perfect for building lush, layered soundscapes.

Tap Tempo, Subdivisions & Doubler Function

Stay locked in the groove with built-in tap tempo and three highly visible subdivision settings: Quarter note (Green LED), Dotted eighth note (Yellow LED), and Half note (Red LED). Looking for an extra burst of energy? Engage the Doubler function by holding the Tap Tempo footswitch to instantly double your delay time. The Doubler can be set to either momentary or latching operation for maximum live flexibility.

Powered by a modern STM32 ARM Cortex processor, the new Memory Lane offers improved headroom, an ultra-low noise floor, and an extended delay range—all packed into a compact footprint. Designed with top-mounted jacks and built-in protection against polarity and over-voltage mistakes, it's engineered for years of dependable use on stage or in the studio.
