At its core, the pedal proudly retains the legendary JRC4558D chip—the exact same component found in the most sought-after vintage units.

  • Dynamic Clipping Options: A 3-diode asymmetrical clipping stage enhances touch sensitivity, naturally responding to your picking dynamics. New to the mk.2, you can toggle to a "No-Diode" clipping mode (N) for a massive, open, and amp-like response with maximum headroom.
  • Dual Footswitch Design: For the first time, the high-gain stage is accessible via a dedicated footswitch, instantly transforming your rhythm tone into a soaring lead.
  • Precision Internal Tweaking: Dual internal trimmers offer independent output level control for the high-gain stage in each clipping mode, allowing you to perfectly match or boost your signal.
  • Smart Power-On: A selectable power-on state lets you choose whether the pedal automatically engages or remains bypassed upon startup.
