This instrument takes the traditional bolt-on, single-cutaway design and supercharges it with Leo Fender's innovative hardware and electronics. At the heart of this ASAT Special are the jumbo Magnetic Field Design (MFD) single-coil pickups. These deliver a wider frequency response, tighter bottom end, and punchier output than standard vintage single-coils, allowing you to seamlessly transition from crystalline cleans to thick, biting overdrive.
