Non-Human Audio Slow Loris | Dynamically Modulated Slapback

A living, breathing lo-fi machine that reacts to how you play.

The Slow Loris is a dynamically driven, lo-fi modulated slapback pedal that defies traditional categorization. From subtle, atmospheric vibrato and chorus to "seasick" warped vinyl textures, this pedal is designed for those who want their delay to feel organic and unpredictable.

The heart of the Slow Loris is its dynamic sensitivity. Using the Control knob, you can set the threshold of instability:

  • Subtle & Atmospheric: Play lightly for a gentle, shimmering modulated slapback.
  • Warped & Unstable: Dig in and hit the strings harder to trigger a deeper vibrato that makes your signal feel like it’s about to tip over.

A Note on Character (Noise):

This circuit is intentionally "rough around the edges." You may hear a small amount of static and crackle—this is normal and part of the pedal's unique lo-fi DNA. It reacts particularly well to guitar volume adjustments; rolling back your volume slightly can clean up the signal, while hotter pickups or humbuckers will push the character to the forefront.

Hand-Built & Individual

Every Slow Loris is hand-built and assembled in the Non-Human Audio workshop. Each enclosure is finished by hand in my backyard, meaning no two pedals are identical. Your unit is a one-of-a-kind functional art piece, crafted to bring a specific, gritty soul to your pedalboard.
