Here is a vintage 1962 Guild A-500 that has had pickups added to it to make it more like an X-500. No idea when it was done or who did the work but it’s pretty solid. Pickups sound great. Body has had overspray on top that isn’t the best work but isn’t horrible. Neck seems to be the original finish. Tuners were changed.
This was the top of the line acoustic archtop that Guild made and the wood used is incredible. Solid flamed maple sides and back. Spruce top. Neck is gorgeous 5 piece maple. Ebony fretboard with gorgeous inlays. Really a beautifying guitar that plays and sounds amazing.
