By pairing lower-gain transistors with a reconfigured boost section that delivers double the gain of the standard Black Math, the Civil Math offers a unique sonic duality between vintage texture and total saturation.

Controls:

• BOOST: Pre-muff op-amp boost to saturate and overwhelm.
• GAIN: Amount of gain (allows more treble at low settings).
• TONE: Typical Muff sweep from wooly bass to sharp treble.
• LOUD: Master output volume.
• BLOWOUT Toggle: Removes diodes for a ragged texture and added gain.
• INTERNAL MIDS: Sets the amount of midrange dip or boost.

Uses standard 9VDC center negative power and features top-mounted jacks.
