You're looking at a good condition 1958 Fender Duo-Sonic / Musicmaster guitar. This guitar plays and sounds great. It has some nice wear on the fretboard. All the electronics work as they should. The tone pot is a bit scratchy. Obviously the guitar has been refinished at some point.

We believe this guitar started as a Musicmaster (see headstock logo) but at some point was converted to a Duo-Sonic with a 3-way blade switch. We believe the bridge pickup is original. The tone pots are probably not original.

The Fender Duo-Sonic electric guitar was released as one of the brand's first student-level guitars. The Duo-Sonic, released in 1956, is notable for its small body and short scale length, and sports two pickups, unlike the single-pickup Musicmaster. Don't mistake the Duo-Sonic for the Duo-Sonic II -- the II is bigger, featuring a 24-inch scale length.
