The Météore's analog preamp drives just the wet side of the signal, allowing for gain and distorted reverb textures that most reverb pedals can't achieve. The size and feedback circuits can push the faux-spring reverb into oscillating feedback that breathes and roars when cranked. Havoc brings that feedback on demand.
