Following up on the success of the Rivolta Guitars COMBINATA comes the latest addition to the family: The MONDATA XVIII. The tradition of offering fresh takes on classic Dennis Fano designs continues with this offset design, incorporating elements of the Fano JM6, raised center block and full German carve.
Like the Combinata, the MONDATA features a double-bound chambered mahogany body with bound neck and vintage pearloid block inlays. This DLX version also includes a B-50 Bigsby.
You can expect a punchy and clear tone from the 'Fumante' mini-humbucker pickups, think 'humbuckers that sound like FAT single coils' and you're there. If versatility is your thing, the two switch configuration gives you every possible pickup combination.
Taking his original inspiration from early JM style guitars, Dennis Fano went on to develop his renowned JM6 series guitars in 2006. The MONDATA is the latest re-imagining of this design by Dennis Fano and fuses the JM styling with a raised center block and 3 x 'Fumante' mini-humbucker pickups.
The MONDATA incorporates features from the Rivolta COMBINATA such as a full German carve, double bound top, chambered mahogany body, Rivolta 3-aside peg-head and full width block inlaid fingerboard. The MONDATA XVIII incorporates the classic Bigsby B-50 tremolo system and Nashville Tunomatic bridge with nylon saddles, adding even more vintage mojo and versatility into the mix!
