Here is an all original 1939 Gibson L-50 guitar with possibly the original Lifton case. The guitar came from the 2nd owner who had it in his possession since the early 1980’s. Its a great playing and sounding guitar and looks nice still. No weird funky smells either. Really a nice vintage Gibson archtop. There is a small separation on the back and side that seems to happen once these Gibson’s get close to 100 years old. Nothing major and it’s nothing to worry about. There is also one small crack on the back shown in the photos. Overall this is a very solid vintage Gibson that is ready to be played. I’ve always been a fan of these early L-50’s as they have great tone and are affordable to play and collect.
