Vintage 1956 Kay Archtop Guitar 8991 Upbeat

Here is a beautiful and quite rare Kay 8991 finished in Silver. Guitar is all original with the exception of the nut has been replaced. I got this from the original owner who thinks he purchased it at Montgomery Wards in 1956. It’s a stunningly beautiful guitar and one of the nicer Kay guitars I’ve ever seen. Collectors of Kay guitars claim this to be quite a rare rare model with this example being one of the only ones to ever surface. It’s a cool guitar for sure. Has the look. Guitar plays decent also but could really use a nice proper setup to be in gig worthy condition. Overall this is a very nice guitar and one I’m glad it crossed my path. No case included but will be packed safely.
