Manufactured between 1967 and 1970, the Baldwin 706 is a fascinating piece of guitar history. Following Baldwin's acquisition of the UK-based Burns guitar company, these unique instruments were born from a multinational effort: featuring arched ES-335-style bodies built by Crucianelli in Italy, distinctive necks designed by James Ormston Burns, and final assembly in the USA and UK.
